College entrance

Colleges are supposed to be professional. People shouldn’t apply to colleges if they don’t want to go. If students aren’t willing to put in the effort to do well in their classes, colleges should have the right to take away their entrance to their campuses. Colleges have the right to take away their entrance to their campuses because it saves room for the people who actually want and deserve to go to college and students who take don’t take things too seriously will not be prepared to do college work.
Students apply for college for a reason; they want to learn and get their education. However, some people go to college just to slack off and do nothing all year. Those people ruin the chances for the people who actually want to be there. Students who have the means may not have the knowledge of someone less fortunate. High school, if you apply yourself, will give you the materials for college.
High school students think that senior year is all fun and games since it’s the last year of high school. They want to relax and enjoy their senior year. Little do they know, they’re ready for a rude awakening. Senior year is one of the most important years in high school. It may not be the easiest year, but it’s preparing you for college. If you aren’t able to handle the work high school gives you, you aren’t ready for college because college is twice as hard.
The biggest mistake someone can make is not trying their best in high school. Colleges look at your transcripts and check if you’re eligible to go to that school. If you don’t have the right grades or manners, colleges have the right to deny you because there are people who actually want to be there and college work isn’t the same as high school work. College is a good opportunity to start your life; high school is where you begin.
